The problemCopy link to section

Understanding why a PC is slow requires connecting observations about memory, CPU, graphics, storage, and individual processes. A useful explanation needs to distinguish a measured symptom from a possible cause.

What I builtCopy link to section

PC Agent combines a Rust command-line interface with a Tauri desktop application, both using the same diagnostic core. It collects Windows system and process measurements, investigates storage usage, and presents answers with citations back to the observations.

The desktop interface includes saved local conversations, a live PC-status panel, measurement details, and progress for each investigation step.

Optional AI investigationCopy link to section

Local analysis is the default. With explicit opt-in, an AI agent can request bounded inspection tools and explain the observations. The controller checks numeric claims and citations against the collected measurements; unavailable data and uncertain conclusions remain visible.

Actions require separate local approval, and the prototype distinguishes investigation from execution.

StatusCopy link to section

This is an early prototype, with source code currently in a private repository. It is not a finished optimizer; diagnostic accuracy and performance still need validation beyond the development machine.
