Counsel
A legal-tech prototype linking AI decisions to verifiable evidence and explanations grounded in recorded events.

The problemCopy link to section
When someone disputes an AI-assisted decision, a plausible explanation is insufficient: it must match the actual records and preserve their integrity.
What I builtCopy link to section
Counsel brings together a case assistant, an agenda, and a traceability view. Its demonstrations link decisions, human reviews, and subsequent actions through fingerprints and sealed receipts.
A Mistral integration drafts explanations from disclosed evidence. Numeric claims are checked against the underlying log before approval.
Demonstration scopeCopy link to section
Built for the LLM × Law Hackathon Paris #2, the demo uses fictional people, companies, and records. A receipt establishes record integrity and existence at a point in time; it does not establish that an AI decision was correct.
